Project Overview
This project showcases the development of a comprehensive, interactive Financial Performance Dashboard built in Microsoft Power BI. The goal was to transform raw transactional and general ledger data into actionable insights, enabling executive leadership and department heads to monitor the financial health of the organization in real-time and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Problem Statement
The client faced challenges due to fragmented financial reporting, relying heavily on static, monthly Excel spreadsheets. This process lacked interactivity, made drill-down analysis cumbersome, and resulted in slow decision-making cycles. The requirement was for a centralized, dynamic reporting environment that provided a “single source of truth” for core financial metrics.
